1 Where slip rings can be used?
In electric design, when the machine part needs 360 unrestrained continuous rotation, the leads should be connected to the rotating part, then the electric engineers will meet the problems of leads wrapping. At this time, they need an electrical rotary joint, which is generally called slip rings for the rotation and transmission of power and/or data.

3 Important technical data should be provided when choosing slip rings.
When selecting slip rings, the following important performance specification should be taken into consideration:
1. Number of circuits (wires input and output)
2.Current rated and voltage rated
3. Rotary speed (How much rpm)
4. Type of signal (very important)
5. Operating temperature
6. IP grade ( sealing requirements)
4 What kinds of signals can be transmitted by our slip ring?
Our slip rings can transmit all present popular middle and low frequency signals, bus-mastering signals, etc.
Such as Inter Bus, Can-Bus, Profibus, RS422, RS485, PLC Control, Digital/Simulate Video, Digital Audio, Kilomega Ether Net, Signals of Temperature&Weight Transducer, and so on.
5 Guide for correct using and insllation of through bore type slip rings.
Shaft installation:
1). Fit slip ring at correct position and lock the matched screw tightly towards shaft. The max torque: 25 lb-in(no more).
2). Line the lead wires and make necessary connects, make the slip ring rotate freely and make sure no encumbrance from lead wire. Lead wire can not be curved by oppressed, or accidents will occur caused by break off of lead wire.
3). Fit the anti-rotation tab with a screw.
Part of flange:
1). Set the installation bores on flange and lock tightly with washer and screw.
2). Line the lead wires and make necessary connects, make sure the free rotation of slip ring can not be cumbered by lead wire.
3). Fit the anti-rotation tab with a screw.
Warning:
As there maybe mechanical tolerance between products and apolication of user, it is not recommended to fit by force on both ends of slip ring( such as lock tightly rotor or stator cause no clearance while rotating), or it will shorten the operating life of slip ring.

6 Guide for correct using and insllation of flange type slip rings
1. This series is designed for being installed with flange on a sleeve bracket.
2. Rotor must be concentric driven by a flexible link (such as plastic tube or screw tube). Rotor
lead wire can do as this driver at limited-speed.
3. As the photograph show, screws with washer can be used to install slip ring, these washer can
avoid flange too tight.
4. Slip ring can not support the weight of equipment which connects with it, rotating equipment
should be fastened so that its weight will not fall on the rotor.
5. Slip ring should not invaded by dust or humidity. If used outdoor , shield is necessary.
6. The surface of lead wire should avoid being damaged while equipment rotating, all lead wire
can not bear weight while you put lead wire in order.
7. No damaging the surface of lead wire while barking its end.
